On behalf of the Olympia Outboard Club (OOC) & Project Mindset, we are honored to share that we will be hosting our Third Annual Veteran & First Responder Family Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11-6PM on Steamboat Island.
This special event is dedicated to honoring the commitment and sacrifice of our Veterans & First Responders and their Families throughout the state of Washington. It will be a day of community and connection, featuring boating, fishing, oystering, paddle boarding, beach activities, swimming, BBQ, and more, set in one of the most beautiful and relaxing environments in our region.
Additionally, I've arranged for a beautiful 50-foot Chris-Craft yacht to be moored between the Olympia Outboard Club docks and Hope Island throughout the afternoon. This unique addition will give our distinguished Veterans, First Responders, and their Families another opportunity to relax on the water, enjoy the scenery, and easily travel…
